Jacfar Khalif’s Work in this COVID-19 Pandemic Became Visible to the Immigrant Families in The Twin Cities.
Here at the New American Development Center, Jacfar Khalif assist dozens of new Covid19 Housing assistance program. The organization is working with the Minnesota Housing, City of Minneapolis and the Hennepin county to help families who are straggling paying their rent, utility, mortgage and homeowners association fees.

Due to the huge need of language accommodation, Jacfar Khalif who is just graduated from Eden Prairie High School and freshman of Normandale College provide one-on-one help with these families to fill up the applications, upload income and expenses verifications and provide translations.

New American Development Center as the community development organization has been working with the state and local governments to address community economic and housing challenges throughout the pandemic.
